cold mornin
n i stare;
lyk yesterday,
they wer all there.

stood mournin
in despair;
tears all day
n some prayer.


leaves from a life,
of a pain n a strife.
lighted, they burn,
lighten, n turn.

still stare;
was yesterday,
't was right there.

no mournin
no despair;
but more tears today
for a fulfiled prayer.

of hopes so rife.
